AI is a perfectly good tool if you use it like a screwdriver, or your computer, or binoculars for birdwatching. But if you rely too much on AI, and poof, you might turn into Mount Everest—a little overly dramatic here, but you get my point—oxygen on, summit ahead.

Of course, will any of us ever be Mount Everest? But we all can be the boss of our creative lives. And that's what this workshop is all about.

• Explore the differences between ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, including what each one actually does with your writing by default.

We'll also discuss how to use AI without surrendering your authorship, along with the philosophical, environmental, and ethical questions you want to consider.
